The Times They Are A-Changin' tickets take you to a failing circus, run by exploitive Captain A-rab where his son Coyote must decide between fleeing the dying family business as he so desperate yearns to do or staying and trying to save it. His decision is made more complicated by his love for beautiful animal trainer Cleo. The Times They Are A-Changin' Broadway is about the struggle to break free of expectations and find your place in the world.
The world premiere of The Times They Are A-Changin' tickets, starting with its opening in February 2006, were selling faster and in larger amounts than any show in its the San Diego Old Globe Theatre's history.
Michael Arden ("Big River" and the off-Broadway rock 'n roll musical "Bare") stars as Coyote, with Lisa Brescia ("Jesus Christ Superstar", "Aida", "The Woman in White") opposite him as Cleo. The role of Captain A-rab is played by Broadway veteran Thom Sesma, with over 20 major house runs in his career, his most recent Broadway appearance being in "Man of La Mancha".
