The Phantom of the Opera Tickets Information
The Phantom of the Opera tickets have been sold out to every single London performance and it is estimated that, in its lifetime, The Phantom of the Opera musical boasts attendance in the range of 99% capacity. Since its inception, approximately 100 million people in 113 cities in 22 countries are estimated to have purchased The Phantom of the Opera tickets. In its 18-year run alone, The Phantom of the Opera Broadway has wowed over 10 million audience members.

Based on the famed novel of the same name by author Gaston Leroux, The Phantom of the Opera musical follows the torment of Christine, a reluctant pupil and muse to the specter that haunts the Paris Opera House. While the Phantom uses dastardly means to try and get his beloved Christine in the spotlight, Christine betrays his obsessive love by falling for nobleman and patron of the arts, Raoul. The Phantom forces the opera house to perform his own masterpiece Don Juan Triumphant with Christine in the lead, and for the fear of further tragedy, they oblige. But when it turns out merely to be the climax in the Phantom's obsessive plot to make Christine his own, she must make a terrible choice that, either way, will have permanent impact on her only true love.

From the dark and dank underground catacombs to the dizzying rooftops, The Phantom of the Opera tickets are tickets to a romantic adventure that will have you on the edge of your seat from the time the curtain rises 'til the time it falls.

Now you may have already seen the 2004 film version of his The Phantom of the Opera musical directed by "Lost Boys" and "Flatliners" director Joel Schumacher, but until you see The Phantom of the Opera Broadway, you ain't seen nothing yet.

The Phantom of the Opera tickets reunite Webber with lyricist Charles Hart ("Aspects of Love") book and additional lyrics writer Richard Stilgoe ("Starlight Express"). Visionary director Harold Prince is no stranger to successful premieres, having helmed the launches of Broadway's "Follies", "Company", "Candide", "Cabaret", "She Loves Me", "Sweeney Todd", "A Little Night Music", and "Evita" among others.

Hear show-stoppers like "Think of Me", "Angel of Music", "The Music of the Night" and "All I Ask of You" like you've never heard them before.

To Gillian Lynne's elegant, graceful, and broodingly expressive choreography the current cast commands The Phantom of the Opera Broadway stage, not the least of whom are the masterfully portrayed trio in an unlikely love triangle played by:

- Accomplished opera lyric coloratura Rebecca Pitcher, as talented as she is gorgeous, in the role of the sweet Christine;

- Five-time Phantom of the Opera musical veteran Michael Shawn Lewis ("The Woman in White") as Raoul, Christine's beloved and the Phantom's rival.

- Howard McGillin ("Stephen Sondheim's Bounce", "Peter Pan", "Kiss of the Spider Woman", "She Loves Me", "The Secret Garden", "Anything Goes", "The Mystery of Edwin Drood") as the titular man behind the mask.

From its magical 1986 opening Her Majesty's Theatre in London, starring Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman, to today, The Phantom of the Opera tickets are a jewel in Broadway's crown.
