The sexy and athletic choreography was designed by Sergio Trujillo, the same man who gave us the sexy and athletic choreography in the equally successful, fictional Elvis revue "All Shook Up".

Star John Lloyd Young as Franki Valli received a Drama Desk award, an Outer Critics Circle award, a Theatre World award, and a Tony for this, his Broadway debut.

In 2006 The Jersey Boys Broadway musical - the show that Clive Barnes of the New York Post called "Too Good To Be True" - took the Tony award for "Best Musical".
