Unarguably an act like no other, and not easily defined, perhaps the best ones to describe Blue Man Group are the blue men themselves - three bald performers in blue grease paint and all-black clothing who deliver a cavalcade of oddball entertainment ranging from percussion to pranks all set to a rock and roll soundtrack, though since they're also mute, they don't do so well at describing.

For the truly adventurous, the first several rows of every Blue Man Group performance are known collectively as the "poncho section" as actual plastic ponchos are handed out to audience members in those rows so as to protect them and their clothing from the unfathomable array of substances somehow ejected from the stage at them.
