Ticket City prides itself on being the first ticket broker to sell tickets online. In business since 1990, they've now served over 90,000 satisfied customers in 68 countries. They specialize in a live ticket ordering technology that allows users to buy tickets direct from the suppliers in real-time.
On the downside, it's not as user-friendly and easy to search as many competing sites and their selection is smaller than most similar sites. Pricing is also at a premium for tickets, as the company offers a smaller service charge but seems to have bundled their margin at marking up the tickets from the secondary ticket broker marketplace. Also, less important but still worth mentioning is this: as much as we promote good customer support, especially by live web chat, a popup window on each page inviting visitors to contact customer support by live chat can get a bit annoying after a while.
The website boasts a number of nice features -- seating charts, Team and Concert schedules, future dates and locations -- but significant problems with the web design that made accessing those features problematic. Searching for events is sometimes difficult and cumbersome.
