New York Rangers Tickets Information
Two-time winners of the Presidents' Trophy (1991-92 and 1993-94), the New York Rangers were one of the Original Six teams in the NHL, along with the Montreal Canadiens, the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Boston Bruins, the Detroit Red Wings, and the Chicago Blackhawks.

In their career, the New York Rangers have taken 4 Stanley Cups: in 1927-28 (against the Montreal Maroons), in 1932-33 (against the Toronto Maple Leafs), in 1939-40 (again putting the Toronto Maple Leafs to shame), and then 54 years later in 1993-94 (against the Vancouver Canucks). The Rangers have also won five Atlantic Division Championships and one Eastern Conference Championship.

Continuing their fierce rivalry with fellow Atlantic Division teams the New York Islanders and the New Jersey Devils, the Rangers help make the Tri-state area a hub for hockey fans and, with the Mets, Yankees, Jets, and Giants as their neighbors, an exciting place to be for lovers of all sports.

And now, with addition of NHL veteran Brendan Shanahan to the lineup, the competition promises to be even fiercer. Already the Rangers alternate team captain, Shanahan has played with 4 other NHL teams, most notably helping take the Detroit Red Wings to 3 Stanley Cup victories. With 600 career goals, he holds the current league record for the most scored by an active player.

Shanahan will join powerhouse Jaromir Jagr on the ice for another season of brutal battling for supremacy. Jagr also scored his 600 th goal this past 2005-06 season, giving Shanahan and Jagr the distinction of being the first teammates in the NHL to ever do so in the same year. Team captain Jagr is one of the select few members of hockey's Triple Gold Club, having won an Olympic gold medal, the World Hockey Championships and, of course, the Stanley Cup. In fact, he helped the Pittsburgh Penguins win 2 Cups in a row before becoming a Ranger. He is the leading scorer among active European-born NHL players.

New York Rangers tickets will also give you an up close and personal view of Henrik Lundqvist keeping a tight lock on the goal. Breaker of numerous Swedish national hockey records, winner of numerous Swedish hockey awards (Most Valuable Player, Goalie of the Year, Player of the Year), Nominated for the Vezina Trophy, and a 2006 Olympic gold-medalist, Lundqvist is widely considered to be one of hockey's finest goalies.

The New York Rangers have had more than 20 players inducted into the NHL Hall of Fame over its lifetime. So don't delay. Get your New York Rangers tickets today, and see who's next.
