Montreal Canadiens Tickets Information
One of the aptly named Original 6, the Montreal Canadiens have captured 24 Stanley Cups in their career so far (most recently in 1993). That's more titles, incidentally, than any other North American sports team in history except for the New York Yankees (with 26 World Series wins).

And now, after 24 victories under their belts (including 5 in a row between 1956 and 1960, and 4 in a row between 1976 and 1979), Montreal Canadiens tickets holders are all asking the same question, could
2006-07 could be the year they get their 25th?

The Montreal Canadiens - or Habs, as they are often better known - have also captured 21 more Northeast Division titles and 8 Eastern Conference titles. And with the recent addition of small and sprightly Sergei Samsonov to the roster, more are in the wings. As a Boston Bruin, Samsonov earned the Calder Memorial Trophy for rookie of the year. In 2002 he won the bronze medal at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
He was traded to the Oilers in 2006 and helped his new team to the Stanley Cup finals. Now he's a Canadien and that bodes quite well for them.

With Montreal Canadiens tickets you're bound to see Andrei Markov in the starting lineup, almost a fixture there nowadays as he's widely considered to be the team's best defenseman. You'll see 1992 Albertville Olympics gold-medalist and 2002 Salt Lake City silver-medalist Alexei Kovalev, originally of the New York Rangers and later with thePittsburgh Penguins. Kovalev, also a licensed pilot, was the first Russian hockey player be drafted in Round One and first Russian player whose name was engraved on the Stanley Cup.

Under the leadership of Head Coach Guy Carbonneau and Team Captain Saku Koivu, the Habs seem set to make the 2006-07 season their most exciting yet.

See the Montreal Canadiens at their best on their home ice in Bell Center (aka La Centre Bell), formerly known as Molson Centre, in Montreal, Quebec. But even if you can't get yourself there, be sure to get Montreal Canadiens tickets for the away games closest you.
