Dallas Stars Tickets Information
They won the Stanley Cup against the Buffalo Sabres in 1998-99 and, the following year, won the 1999-2000 Western Conference finals against the Colorado Avalanche, but lost the Cup to the New Jersey Devils.

Mike Modano, about to be married in 2007 to Dancing With the Stars star Willa Ford, has been with the Stars franchise for 15 years (and played in all 15 seasons). In fact, he is currently the only remaining player from the original Minnesota North Stars on the team. In the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, he was the Stars first overall draft pick and the team has never regretted it. He was team captain when the Stars took the Stanley Cup in 1999 and was only recently replaced, in 2006, by Brendan Morrow.

Which makes now the best time to get your hands on some Dallas Stars tickets and see what brand new team captain left winger Brenden Morrow, son-in-law of former teammate Guy Carbonneau (now Head Coach of the Montreal Canadiens), has up his sleeve. Just this past year, 2006, Morrow was named for the first time in his career to the NHL All Star Game, along with fellow Dallas Stars Modano, Sergei Dubov, and Marty Turco.

Goalie Marty Turco is a novelty in the NHL, as he never played in the Minors but was instead drafted straight out of college, playing for the University of Michigan in the NCAA to be precise. Turco started the 2002-03 season and played in the next 2 years NHL All-Star Games.

Now is a killer time to have Dallas Stars tickets as 2002 Winter Olympics gold medalist and professional hockey veteran Eric Lindros, formerly of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the New York Rangers, and the Philadelphia Flyers, joins the team.

Meanwhile Jason Arnott, after scoring a career high of 76 points with the Dallas Stars, left the team a free agent and signed with the Nashville Predators.

There are many new talents on the Dallas Stars roster this year, including the acquisition of 2 stars from the Atlanta Thrashers (Jaroslav Modry and Patrik Stefan), which makes the upcoming season bound to be full of bone-crushing thrills and chills.
