Atlanta Thrashers Tickets Information
The Atlanta Hockey Club named its team after the Georgia state bird, the Brown Thrasher, based on a poll of fans. Their first draft pick was Patrik Stefan and shortly thereafter, the Atlanta Thrashers, one of the NHL's newest teams, went on, in 1999, to win their first regular season game 3-1 (against Nashville). The rest is history in the making.

This past season (2005-06) was the best yet for the Georgia based Atlanta Thrashers, having just missed making the playoffs by only 2 points. They have yet to make the playoffs, but they're getting closer to the Stanley Cup every seasons, which is why upcoming Atlanta Thrashers tickets could land you a seat to a record breaking season.

With your Atlanta Thrasher tickets in hand, you'll witness the wizardry of Head Coach Bob Hartley in action. Before coming to the Thrashers in 2003, Hartley led the Colorado Avalanche to the Stanley Cup in the 2000-01 season.

Now, from the start of the 2006-07 season and under the deft leadership of team captain Scott Mellanby, star scorers like forwards Marian Hossa and 2003-04 Rocket Richard Trophy winner Ilya Kovalchuk, along with goaltender Kari Lehtonen, have put the Atlanta Thrashers at the top of the Southeast Division standings.

Of course there's no better place to see the Atlanta Thrashers at their best than when they're playing at their home in Philips Arena. But you also won't want to miss a moment of their heated, continuing, 2-year-long battle against Northeast Division rivals the Toronto Maple Leafs. And every game against the other teams in their division - the Carolina Hurricanes, the Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Washington Capitals, is one not to be missed.

Read our ticket sites reviews to find the best places to get your Atlanta Thrasher tickets today. Once you sit down and watch the Atlanta Thrashers tearing up the ice, you'll soon, if you don't already, "Believe in Blue Land" too.
