St. Louis Rams Tickets Information
The St. Louis Rams are one of 4 teams in the National Football Conference West Division (NFC West) – along with.the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, and Seattle Seahawks – and one of 16 teams in the NFC which in turn is one of the two conferences in the National Football League (NFL).

The Rams have been playing football as part of the NFL since 1937, though at the time they were known as the Cleveland Rams, a name they kept until 1946 when they became the Los Angeles Rams. At first, the Rams were part of the Western Division, where they remained until 1950 when they switched to the National Conference. In 1953 they moved to the Western Conference and, in 1967, its Coastal Division.

Before moving to the NFC, the St. Louis Rams won 4 division championships – two with NFL West (1945 and 1949) and two with the NFL Coastal (1967 and 1969) – 3 conference championships – two consecutively with the NFL National (1950 and 1951) and one with NFL Western (1955) – and 2 NFL championships – in 1945 as the Cleveland Rams beating the Washignton Redskins 15-14 and as in 1951 as the Los Angeles Rams beating the Cleveland Browns 24-17.

The Los Angeles Rams  joined the NFC West in 1970, becoming the St. Louis Rams we know them to be today in 1995. Since joining the NFC West the Rams have won 11 division championships (1973-79, 1985, 1999, 2001, and 2003). The Rams have played in 3 Super Bowls and won 1 – Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000 beating the Tennessee Titans 23,16.

The St. Louis Rams play their home games at the 66,000 seat Edward Jones Dome in St.Louis, Missouri. The team uniform colors are millenium blue, new century gold, and white.

They are currently under the leadership of head coach Scott Linehan who has been in this role since 2006. Before that, he was on the coaching and administrative staffs of the Miami Dolphins and the Minnesota Vikings as well as NCAA football teams for the University of Louisville, the University of Washington, the University of Idaho, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

A number of Rams have earned their way into enshrinement in the NFL Hall of Fame, including 21 who were part of the Los Angeles Rams and owner Dan Reeves (1941-71; inducted 1967) and offensive tackle Jackie Slater (1976-95; inducted 2001) who spent at least part of their career on the St. Louis Rams. To date, only one person on the St. Louis Rams, former head coach Dick Vermeil, has been honored by enshrinement in the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
