Jonas Brothers Tickets Information
The first Jonas brother to get into show business was 6-year-old Nick, who was discovered while he was singing in a barber shop, and quickly found his way into the cast of several Broadway smash hits – “A Christmas Carol,” “Annie Get Your Gun,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Les Miserables.” He was then given a recording contract and released a solo studio album.
Shortly thereafter, Nick’s brothers, who helped pen several of the songs on his album, were signed on, turning Nick Jonas’s solo act into a group act. The Jonas Brothers toured with many great acts including, most notably, the Backstreet Boys and the original American Idol Kelly Clarkson.
The Jonas Brothers hit the music scene with a splash in 2006 with “It’s About Time,” and though it only made 50,000 in ticket sales and reached 91 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 200 charts, with no appearances on any international charts, their eponymous second album in 2007 climbed to #5, achieving 1.7 million in worldwide sales, with appearances on the charts in 12 other countries and the worldwide charts. That album gave the family four charting hits: Hold on, SOS,When You Look Me in the Eyes, and Kim Wilde's Kids of the Future.
It was The Disney Channel that found the Jonas Brothers their biggest devotees and spread their names far and wide, giving the band a string of appearances on a string of hit Disney Channel Shows, including their most recent series J.O.N.A.S!
The latest album from the Jonas Brothers is 2008’s “A Little Bit Longer,” set for release on August 12, 2008 and expected to top their personal records set with their previous album.
In addition to their own studio releases, the Jonas Brothers also kicked out a popular version of Poor Unfortunate Souls from “Disney’s The Little Mermaid Soundtrack.” That’s not the only well-known cover on the band’s playlist, as they’ve also been known to perform songs by Busted, Lyte Funky Ones, A-Ha, The Beatles, and Shania Twain. The Jonas Brothers have also recorded several big hits from the “ Camp Rock” soundtrack.
The Jonas Brothers are:
-
Kevin – the oldest; lead guitar and backup vocals
-
Joe – the middle brother; lead vocals, tambourine, and (occasionally) guitar
-
Nick – the baby Jonas; lead vocals, and (sometimes) piano and drums
-
Frankie – born 2000, a Jonas Brothers new addition known as the “Bonus Jonas” and debuting with his brothers on J.O.N.A.S!
Getting audiences excited about the upcoming release of their third studio album, “A Little Bit Longer,” the Jonas Brothers “Burning Up Tour” kicks off on July 19 at the Coors Amphitheatre at Fiddler’s Green in Denver, Colorado, and plays throughout North America, ending September 5 at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Anything but bored, the Jonas Brothers’ “Burning Up Tour,” their fifth as headliners, follows fast on the heels of the band’s big stint opening for Avril Lavigne’s “The Best Damn Tour,” their third as openers, their previous being Myley Cyrus’s “Best of Both Worlds Tour.”
