A good ol' boy from Poteet, Texas who spent 5 years in the U.S. Army and graduated Southwest Texas State University with a degree in Agriculture, George Strait knows what he's singing about. He's a dreamer and a visionary, a cowboy, a honky-tonk hero, and one of country music's favorite sons. Indeed each time you redeem George Strait tickets, you know that you'll be transported to the heart of the heartland.

George Strait Tickets Information
Born George Harvey Strait on May 18, 1952, the country music legend known to fans as "King George" has in 55 years put out an amazing grand total of 37 albums. Since his very first single "Unwound" off his very first album Strait Country, George Strait has established himself as one of the most beloved performers in country music.

George Strait holds the number 2 spot, next to only Conway Twitty, for having recorded the most #1 songs on all charts, starting with "Fool Hearted Memory" in 1982 and, with "Give It Away", the first single off his newest album, It Just Comes Naturally, currently tallying 53. Strait beats out Twitty, however, on most Billboard #1 country singles, 41 to Twitty's 40.

Each George Strait performance is a new experience, with 35 gold, 32 platinum, and 13 multi-platinum albums to cull from, including hit singles like: "She'll Leave You With a Smile", "You'll Be There", "The Fireman", "Amarillo By Morning", "Living and Living Well", "Run", "Go On", "Don't Make Me Come Over There (and love you)", "If You Can Do Anything Else", "Write This Down", "I Just Want to Dance With You", "True", "We Shouldn't Be Doing This", "Blue Clear Sky", "Carried Away", "Blue Cheyenne", and "Check Yes or No" - along with over 400 other country music classics.

Strait has sold over 62 million albums and won 16 CMA (Country Music Association) Awards. In 2006 he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. For several years he's hosted the George Strait Country Music Festival and the George Strait Team Roping Classic.

With the release of It Just Comes Naturally, the King of Country is on tour as you read this. And this latest George Strait tour features guest star Ronnie Milsap and opening act, newbie-but-goodie Taylor Swift. So don't delay in getting your George Strait tickets for this 2007 tour. He may be coming to a town near you before you know it.

And here's a bonus for all you George Strait fans who just can't get enough of the guy: George Strait is also a familiar face at the annual Houston Livestock & Rodeo Show. And it just so happens that Houston Rodeo tickets are also on sale at this moment. Get yours today and get double the George Strait.
