Family Values Tour Tickets Information
Korn started it all, in 1998, intending it to be a rap, rock, and metal extravaganza. And that’s exactly what the  Family Values Tour delivers. Over the years, the headlining torch has been passed around, from Limp Bizkit to Staind and Stone Temple Pilots and back to Korn again.

Every year a CD – and sometimes a DVD too – is released of the Family Values Tour, so you can catch up on what you missed to prepare yourself for what’s to come when you will be among the screaming crowd on this year’s recordings. The album for the Family Values Tour 2006 includes tracks by 10 Years, Stone Sour, Deftones, Dir En Grey, Deadsy, Flyleaf (on this year’s roster too), and of course Korn.

Korn is a Bakersfield, California “nu-metal” band that has rocked its way to 6 Grammy nominations and 2 Grammy Awards (in 2000 for Best Short Form Music Video, with "Freak on a Leash" and in 2003 for Best Metal Performance with "Here to Stay"),.

Korn already has 8 wildly successful original studio albums under their belt – Korn, Life Is Peachy, Follow the Leader, Issues, Untouchables, Take a Look in the Mirror, See You on the Other Side, a recorded but as-of-yet unnamed 8th studio albumand a 9th one planned on the way as soon as the Family Values Tour 2007 is out.

Korn has been honord numerous times by Hit Parader, Blender, Guitar World, Kerrang!, Metal Hammer, MTV and the MTV Video Music Awards, Rolling Stone Magazine, Revolver, and VH1.

Korn has been cited as an influence for countless bands, including many on the Family Values Tour lineup, as well as Slipknot, and Sepultura. Members of Korn, collectively or individually, have worked with The Cure, Ice Cube, The Pharcyde, Marilyn Manson, The Notorious B.I.G., Xzibit, and Q-Tip, among others. The Korn lineup changes frequently, with the only steady members being Jonathan Davis on lead vocals and bagpipes, Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu on bass guitar and James “Munky” Shaffer on guitar. For much of this year, including during the 2007 Family Values Tour, Joey Jordison will be joining them on drums.

This is the first year that the Family Values Tour has scheduled some dates in Europe too. Currently confirmed to be part of the lineup in the 2007 Family Values Tour is Atreyu, Droid, Evanescence, Flyleaf, Hellyeah, Neurosonic, Trivium, and Videodrone.

So far there are about 30 North American dates confirmed for the Family Values Tour, starting on July 20 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, St., Louis in Maryland Heights, Missouri and running through September 2 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, California.
