Christina Aguilera Tickets Information
Staten Island, New York-born Christina Aguilera is not your typical pop starlet, however, offering music lovers an eclectic variety of sounds and styles over the years. Starting out with a bang, her self-titled bubblegum-pop debut Christina Aguilera brought us "Genie in a Bottle" and 3 other chart-topping hits which succeeded in landing her 2000's Best New Artist Award. Then, in 2001, she released Mi Reflejo (My Reflection), a Latin Pop album for which she won the Latin Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album. Almost simultaneously with that, she put out My Kind of Christmas, showing the world how to be both naughty and nice at the same time.
Many people remember Christina Aguilera best for her part (along with Li'l Kim, Pink, and Mya) in the wildly successful cover version of Labelle's "Lady Marmalade", released as part of the Moulin Rouge movie soundtrack. Putting the question, " voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?" (Do you want to sleep with me tonight?) on the lips of the world, the scintillating vocal quartet was #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 for 5 weeks and saw more success than Labelle's orginal.
But Christina Aguilera doesn't need collaborations to be hot. Stripped, her second studio album, showed us what can happen when she Christina takes control of the works, and what happened was "Dirty" and "Beautiful" (two singles that received extensive radio play). The ever-evolving Aguilera infused elements of hip-hop into this venture.
Then, with Back to Basics, her 2006 release, she added blues, soul, and jazz influences into her expansive repertoire. Look to hear that album's hit singles like "Ain't No Other Man" performed as though you were hearing them for the first time. All you need to do that is have your Christina Aguilera tickets for the 41-date North American leg of her Back to Basics tour starting in February 2007. Throughout the tour she'll also be scheduling intermittent performances of her Jazz Tour of local blues and jazz clubs.
Busy lady, that Christina Aguilera. Better catch her while you can!
