Bruce Springsteen Tickets Information
A New Jersey native, Bruce Springsteen is thought of by many to have “invented” American heartland rock and roll. And whether or not this is true, his personal brand of rock has entertained and inspired millions for generations.
This current Bruce Springsteen tour finds him again with the E Street Band, and together they plan to make it a big one, their first full-scale tour since 2003. The members of the E Street band are:
-
Roy Bittan on keyboards;
-
Clarence Clemons on saxophone and percussion;
-
Danny Federici on keyboards;
-
Nils Lofgren on guitars;
-
Patti Scialfa on vocals and guitar;
-
Garry Tallent on bass;
-
Max Weinberg on drums;
-
And Steven Van Zandt (known to many as Silvio on the Sopranos) on guitars.
Bruce Springsteen himself plays guitars, harmonica, and piano in addition to providing lead vocals. From his ballads to his anthems, Springsteen always brings his raw and heartfelt 110%.
Perhaps The Boss’s most famous work is still 1984’s Born in the USA, which brought us such timeless rock classics as “Dancing in the Dark”, “Cover Me”, “I’m On Fire”, “Glory Days”, “I’m Goin’ Down”, “My Hometown”, and of course the title song. The album hit number 1 in the U.S., U.K., and Australia.
Other Billboard Top 5 albums from Bruce Springsteen include: Born to Run, Darkness on the Edge of Town, The River, Tunnel of Love, Human Touch, and Lucky Town.
Winner of countless awards, including an Oscar for writing the theme song to the Tom Hanks Best Picture-winning movie Philadelphia, Bruce Springsteen has racked up 15 Grammy, including: Best Rock Vocal Performance for “Dancing in the Dark”, “Tunnel of Love” and Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance for “Code of Silence” and “Devils & Dust”.
In support of their newest album, Magic, hitting stores on October 2, this tour will take Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band across the U.S. and Europe. Magic is the collaboration’s first studio release since The Rising, their GRAMMY-winning album of 2002
October 2 is also the tour’s kickoff date, with the honors going to Hartford, Connecticut to host the first show. The tour then makes its way through the states, playing its last U.S. performance on November 18 in Boston, Massachusetts before heading to Spain for the start of its European leg.
